Ideally located in the heart of the Golden Triangle in the 8th arrondissement, right in the centre of Paris, Le Clarence provides the perfect setting for guests to savour the cuisine created by their team, accompanied by their selection of fine wines. On the third floor of the mansion, three private reception rooms, fully equipped and connected, welcome all types of events. Business lunches, seminars, press lunches, product launches or private dinners… Everything is possible thanks to discreet technical installations that offer cutting-edge innovation (flat screen, video-conference, sound system, high-speed Wifi…).
The largest of the three private reception rooms, which can receive up to 20 people, was named in honour of the “king of chefs and chef of kings”. He was the personal chef to Talleyrand and to whom we owe the invention of gastronomy; he asserted that “good food and good wine gladden the heart of the gastronome.” A belief shared by one and all at Le Clarence.
Le Clarence’s second private reception room, named after the legendary chef Auguste Escoffier, can accommodate up to 12 guests. Escoffier, known as the most famous chef of his time, worked at the Ritz and his “Culinary Guide” became a bible of French gastronomy, inspiring generations of cooks.
This room can receive 6 people and bears the name of the first President of the family-owned company. Nephew of Clarence Dillon, Seymour Weller, carried out his profession for 40 years. He retired in 1975 and it is now his cousin, Joan Dillon – the founder’s granddaughter and mother of the current President, H.R.H. Prince Robert of Luxemburg – who succeeds him.
Nestled within the private mansion’s ground floor lies the entrance to La Cave du Château, an exclusive venue for private tastings and oenological events. Here, a meticulously curated selection of the finest great growths and spirits from France’s terroirs awaits, providing the perfect prelude to a gastronomic experience at Le Clarence.
