French Data Protection Law

In booking over the website, the customer agrees to the use of any data thereby collected by Le Clarence restaurant. This data is necessary for processing the reservation.

In keeping with the French law dated 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, modify, delete or contest personal information. To do so, all it takes is to send an e-mail to specifying your last name, first name, and e-mail address.  In keeping with current rules and regulations, this request must be signed and accompanied by a photocopy of the person’s identity card bearing the holder’s signature, and should also indicate his postal address. An answer will be sent within 2 (two) months of receiving the request.  In keeping with the French law dated 6 January 1978, no personal information we be collected unbeknownst to the client. 


Le Clarence restaurant declines all liability for difficulty in accessing their site or for interrupted connections due to whatever reason.  In addition, the restaurant cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to your computer or computer equipment, or for any virus infection as a result of accessing or using the site, or downloading anything from the site.

Exoneration of technical liability

Should it be translated, only the French version will be considered definitive.  Should a dispute arise, and an amicable agreement not found, the Tribunal de Commerce de Paris (Paris Commercial Court) alone will be competent to judge the case.
